2009 Week 4 Preview

There are 6 remaining undefeated teams in the Missouri 8-Man Football Coaches Association. 5 of those haven't lost and are battling along with the other teams while preparing for district play in 2 weeks. Worth County was able to defeat Craig/Fairfax in a battle of unbeatens in week 3. St. Joseph Christian defeated South Holt in another key match-up. Stanberry pitched a shut-out earning Defense of the Week. Chilhowee picked up their first win of the year over Stewartsville to earn Team of the Week.

This week, Mound City travels to Stanberry in the match-up that will set the early favorite for the state championship in St. Louis. Both teams head into the game undefeated and Mound City hasn't lost in their last 15 games. Stanberry is primed and ready for a re-match of the 2009 semi-final game that Mound City won last year. Another good match-up for this week is 2-1 North Nodaway at 2-1 Nodaway-Holt.
