2009 Practice Kicks-Off

Missouri schools hit the practice fields for the first time this week as the 2009 season begins. Most teams will have 9 practices before they play in their first jamboree, with the first game coming the following week.

Mound City enters the 2009 season as the defending champions, trying to replace several seniors in the hopes of repeating. St. Joseph Christian returns many key players, after finishing runner-ups in 2008. Many other teams are preparing to make a trip to the dome for the 2009 state championship in St. Louis.
